Miss Lilly Miller (MLM): Good morning Betty.  Fancy meeting you! I thought you were still at seaside.
Miss Betty Jones(MBJ): Good Morning, Lily.  We came back yesterday.  My father went  to your place this morning. Didn’t you see him?
MLM: No, I didn’t. By the way, some friend are going to come to tea tomorrow; will you be able to come too?
MBJ: Yes, with pleasure, but I shan’t be able to come before 5 o’clock.
MLM: Oh! That is early enough, the others are not coming before five. I hope we shall spend a pleasant afternoon.  There will be eight of us.  After tea, we shall switch on the wireless and have a song.
MBJ: Will your cousin Jackbe coming?
MLM: Yes, and we shall ask him to sing
MBJ: He sing very well, but he is so shy
MLM: Then we must find some way to persuade him
MBJ: Are you free this evening? Will you come to the cinema with me? I have two seats for the Royal Cinema

MBJ: Yes, but only  as far as Lisbon; She has a lot of to do in Portugal. Jack and Lucy wanted to goo too, but Mr. Robinson insists on their remaining to finish their study
MLM: Will they remain alone?
MBJ: No, they are going to stay with Mr and Mrs. Davis during the absence of their parents.
MLM: I must leave you now.Good bye.
MBJ: Goodbye, don’t be late.
